The Mountain Mile development is located a block off the Parkway in Pigeon Forge, and it continues to grow with new-to-the area venues for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Discover what is now available and also opening soon during your next visit to your Smoky Mountain cabin. Newest construction development is on the left side of the road (re-work of the old Belz Mall complex), but extends on both sides along Teaster Lane. Listed here is a cross-section sampling of just some of the experiences that await you at Mountain Mile.
After visiting Mountain Monster Thrill Rides and gaining that adrenaline rush, check out the surrounding event lawn, a nice place to let the family relax and blow off steam outdoors, perhaps after grabbing a treat to drink or eat! Check into free Friday night movies on the lawn.
For instant gratification, investigate these indulgent merchants. Cream & Sugar Sweet Shoppe is well-named for scoop, soft serve, and rolled ice cream and milkshakes, favorite candy selections, and other homemade treats. Cinnaholic: need I say more than gourmet cinnamon rolls? Customize yours with flavored frostings, fruits and sauces. Not plain Jane, unless you want an Old Skool classic roll, plus other bakery items that cover sweet cravings. The Coffee Armory local coffee shop is veteran-owned, and features Black Rifle brand coffee for your custom caffeine concoction. Try these establishments for a satisfyingly different experience while on vacation.
For entertainment options, Mountain Mile Adventures offers Polaris Slingshot Rentals, an interesting way to tour the Smokies area on a beautiful day (might want to rethink a heavy caffeine intake prior to this)! Selfie Hangout is a self-guided photography studio with multiple interactive photo scenes for your use. For a flat rate hourly session ticket, you can take as many shots as you desire, so make some fantastic photos! Open Thursday through Sunday. Spend an hour (or less if you solve the clues!) at Escapology, an exciting interactive escape room challenge with several themes from which to choose.
For shopping enthusiasts, selections truly include a little something for everyone. Find both chain stores and outlets for apparel, tools, shoes, home items, and more. A few chain stores to note include REI Co-op for all manner of outdoors, camping and sporting gear-a must stop for anyone active. J&P Cycles carries needs and wants for your late model or vintage motorcycle: from parts, tires, and helmets to fun fashion gear. Royal Bee is a specialty store for bee-created products from obvious ones like honey and beeswax items to skin care products, candles, and gifts.
Shop Local! Unique and locally-owned boutiques appeal to many interests and tastes. Begin with Mountain Mile General Store which offers apparel, home decor and more fun mountain country items. For a more refined sense of designer selection, locate fine home pieces, gifts and keepsakes at Nest Decor, a Tennessee-based home styling store. BAAKK Boutique is a local fashion shop for the girls, with affordable feminine trends from small to plus sizes. Meet a new lifestyle logo with items found at Appalachian Apparel Company. Diesel Dogs Shop attracts truck lovers for gear, metal art, and Jeep items.
Junction 35 Kitchen offers a casual American menu with filling BBQ, Angus burgers, and other chef-created entrees. Across the lane, also consider J. Dels Pizza, a family-owned authentic New York pizza and Italian restaurant that will never disappoint! A few doors down, Cookie Dough Monster Cafe & Grille offers far more than edible cookie dough items. Creative sandwich selections include burgers, cluckers chicken, and grilled cheese options with extraordinary flavor combinations. Baked cookies, cakes, and cheesecakes; ice cream and milkshakes will finish your meal well.
In the coming months, Azul Cantina will feature a classic Mexican menu and Pigeon Forge's only rooftop venue with panoramic views of both the town and mountain scenery. Guy Fieri's Downtown Flavortown will anchor the corner with a 40,000 plus square feet entertainment center. A large restaurant with signature Fieri culinary offerings, an enormous arcade with classic to VR games, a 14-lane duck pin bowling alley, and more for the entire family to enjoy as its own destination. Toy Town is the spot for kids of all ages, with a full-scale (friendly) T-Rex as a stationary indoor mascot for the toy store. Buy a Lego set to assemble at the cabin! The Listening Room Cafe will bring some Nashville-style sounds and food to the mountains in a live-entertainment venue. Evening live music sessions from local artists will complement an American menu. Finally, should you need the energy, a bank of Tesla superchargers will be available in front of Flavortown to quickly recharge your vehicle while you explore.
