This 4BR/4 BA cabin is secluded on its own 2-acre ridge, hillside in the Wonderland Woods vacation community.
Let’s all gather for a family photo at the cut wood mantel, in front of the mountain stone woodburning fireplace in the living room. Like a warm hug, the home’s furnishings are simple and comfortable for the entire group. The compact, efficient kitchen features island bar seating for 4, while the oak oval dining table has additional seating for 8. All can enjoy a hearty pancake breakfast, and gaze at the view through the wall of windows.
Or take your coffee mugs outside to the spacious double decks with lots of rocking chairs to absorb the tree-framed ridgetop view. Spend a little time swinging your feet on the porch bench swing, while the burgers cook on the charcoal grill. Enjoy each other’s company while submerged in the swirling hot tub, amid the surrounding nature: birdsong, gentle breezes, and nighttime starlight.
And no sibling fighting! With 6 satellite TVs throughout the lodge, everyone can choose their favorite viewing option. Or throw the children a downstairs slumber party. Grab a teddy bear, and snuggle into a favorite Disney movie in the futon kid’s area with TV. Play a game of checkers or tackle a board game, compete at air hockey and pool, and then tuck the children into the adjacent twin bunk beds for all night stories and secrets.
Adults can choose from 4 bedroom suites, all with aspen log king beds. The downstairs bedroom also offers an additional set of bunkbeds for younger family members. All bedrooms are oversized for comfort, and feature quilt bedding for warmth and old-fashioned charm. 2 suites also provide Jacuzzis with tiled tub areas in their private bathrooms.
Swimming pool privileges and access to a catch-and-release fish pond nearby are also included.

Perfect for reunion with 4 separate bedroom suites. Clean and comfortable. Only suggestions are installation of handicap bars in shower/tub combos that are deep and evaluate size of tv in upstair BRs because and mounting angle made it difficult to watch from bed. These are just suggestions and in no way diminished our stay as the view is Gorgeous. Will definitely request again in the future.

Wanted to let you know that our visit to Tennessee and to our rental cabin for our huge family was fantastic. We loved Grandmother's Mountain Lodge!! We all had room to do our own things yet still be together as a family. I totally loved our place. The inside of Grandmother's Mountain Lodge is beautiful and the view was fantastic. Even the 5 bears that came to visit were cute, from a distance that is. We had a great time at Grandmother's Mountain Lodge and we will highly recommend Volunteer Cabin Rentals. The 5 of us enjoyed our week at Grandmothers mountain lodge. Beautiful view. The cabin was clean, well equipped & comfortable. A small bear visited us 2 afternoons. The drive up was a little scary for us Florida Flatlanders but we got used to it. We plan on coming again.

When I booked our family Getaway, I wanted a beautiful spacious cabin, with all of the amenities. We were very pleased with Grandmas Mountain Lodge. The place is super spacious, with 4 large bedrooms, all equally nice with bathrooms attached to each one. The place was very clean, even seals on the toilets. There was enough stuff to keep us all entertained, a pool table, air hockey table, checkers, hot tub. The house includes all the plates/cups/silverwear/etc. you need. They give you a starter of all other supplies like soap/toilet paper/laundry soap. They offer a pond and a community pool that has an ice cream place attached to it. The cabin is near fun stuff to do, once you get down the mountain. The roads are crazy on the mountain, but we wanted the full mountain experience .
WiFi was excellent and plenty of cable channels to watch. I would rate the cabin and our experience a 10/10. There was a meteor shower while we were there, looking at the sky from the huge porch with an abundance of rocking chairs was amazing. We even got to see a black bear, which we really wanted to.. from a distance of course. Volunteer Cabins have tons of cabins to choose from. You will not be disappointed with your stay. Hope you have an amazing vacation like we did.
