We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “Unforgettable”! Stunning views and privacy! We saw a bear on two different occasions walking around the cabin! Excellent accommodations and very friendly staff. We cannot wait to visit again!

We made our first pilgrimage to the Smokies late last year to see the snow and get away from work. We had a great time and knew we would be back with Volunteer Cabin Rentals as it would save us money over using VRBO. When they sent us their spring specials we could not make anything from January to March work with our existing work commitments so planned to get in on the May special. I’ve seen the Big Five of Africa in the wild and have photos them, but have not seen black bear or elk in the wild except for maybe at a young age. Upon arriving at our cabin we were greeted with mom and her two cubs. The cubs were up on the porch being kids and fooling around while mom was keeping an eye out for any potential trouble. Since she deemed us trouble she got the kids off the porch and into the woods. Being such a quick encounter and totally unexpected we could not get any pictures taken before they were gone from view. Our next to last day we spent a good portion of the day at Cades Cove and saw black bear there and got pi’s plus dear and wild turkey. We left the next day to head home and took a different route home and saw elk. Mission accomplished! Unforgettable was our cabin and the views and location were spectacular. We will definitely be coming back and hope to stay in Unforgettable again. The cabin is nicely appointed and has all you will need plus a few very nice surprises! The staff at Volunteer Cabin Rentals are truly awesome to work with and will assist you with your needs during your stay. Highly recommend them. Will definitely be coming back again!

Love this place and love this cabin!!! From the start of booking, the check in process, the staff and check out are all wonderful!!! The cabin “Unforgettable” is exactly as its name. This is an amazing cabin with amazing views!!! Have been here 3 times and planning a 4th.

Celebrating First Wedding Anniversary. Called last minute to see if by chance they had anything available for the weekend. To our delight they did. We got so lucky! The rental agent at Volunteer Cabins couldnt have been nicer or more helpful. The cabin was perfect for us. Very secluded with a spectacular, unobstructed view. It was so peaceful. The whole area of Wears Valley was great. Quaint shops, good food, super nice people and such beautiful scenery. If you are looking for a break from social medial & day to day stresses this is a wonderful choice.

I treated my friend of over 60 yrs. to a trip to the mountains and wanted to stay in a cabin overlooking the mountains. I was wanting the perfect one for this very special trip because we had never had a girls trip away before. Unforgettable was the perfect place to stay for our getaway. This is our favorite place to stay at. We have stayed in this cabin 10 times now. Breathtaking views along with complete privacy. There is not a cabin right next to you. Even though the owners of property off the driveway to Unforgettable have decided to build a cabin, it is still a great place to stay.

This was our second time using Volunteer Cabin Rentals. Both cabins were fantastic but this one, unforgettable, was our favorite! The views from the cabin are definitely unforgettable. We love staying in wears valley outside of the touristy towns and close to the lesser used entrance to the park on line springs rd. Stop by the mountain bros general store and get their by their local coffee for your cabin. It's so good we order from them and have it shipped to Florida!
