Plan on riding two wheels to the mountains instead of four? If so, Volunteer Cabin Rentals is the place where you’ll find the most motorcycle-friendly lodgings in the Smokies!
For starters, many of our cabins are able to accommodate bikes, whether you’re riding or towing. Some of our cabins have spaces for you to park your motorcycle trailer in the driveway, or if the property isn’t set up to handle a trailer, there’s a handy lot near our main office where you can leave your trailer during your stay.
Volunteer Cabin Rentals is also convenient to the destinations where motorcycle lovers go when they’re in the Great Smoky Mountains. Our main office and dozens of cabin properties are strategically located in and around the Wears Valley community, which gives you quick-and-easy access to all the area’s curvy and scenic routes.
For example, you might head into the national park through charming Townsend, Tennessee, which then leaves a fairly short ride to the popular Cades Cove area of the park. Going through Townsend can also send you toward the park’s Sugarlands Visitor Center and Newfound Gap Road, which winds its way across the Smokies range from Tennessee to North Carolina.
Of course, if you want to get into the heart of all the area attractions, Wears Valley is only a few miles from the main drag in Pigeon Forge, which then leads directly to Gatlinburg and the national park.
Another popular day trip for bikers is also easily accessible. From the Wears Valley area, you can head through neighboring Blount County and on toward Deals Gap, North Carolina, to ride the famous Tail of the Dragon. This 11-mile stretch of U.S. 129 attracts bikers from all over the world with its 318 turns and abundant great views of the Smokies.
